This commercial building project spans 3,878 sq.ft in Utah ,USA and features a two-storey structure with a mono-sloped roof, engineered to deliver both functional performance and architectural clarity. The scope of work included complete engineering, 3D modeling, detailed structural drawings, and CNC production files, ensuring smooth coordination from design through fabrication. Using STRAP for engineering analysis and leveraging FrameCAD for production, the project was executed with precision and efficiency.
A standout aspect of this project is the creation of a custom 30-foot-tall wall panel, engineered specifically to function as a climbing wall based on the client’s unique requirements. While the standard wall height in our projects is normally 10 feet, this oversized panel demanded advanced engineering considerations. To ensure structural stability and safety, the wall was reinforced using strategically placed strap connections, carefully designed to handle vertical and lateral forces.
This project highlights the integration of specialized engineering, customized detailing, and precision manufacturing—resulting in a robust, safe, and purpose-built commercial solution that meets the client’s performance expectations while maintaining structural reliability.

Technical Snippet :

The CS is a continuous utility strap designed to resist tension and uplift loads. This coiled strap can be cut to length on the job site and used in a single 2x stud or post application. The CS is ideal for many applications including resisting uplift in a floor-to-floor application and also resisting tension in a horizontal application.
